Noam Chomsky and Epsilon
Jan 20th, 2009 by Niko de Lyko
In admonition of those poor spirits that would venture to suppose our team as having things to do with cliche national-or-any-other-istic -isms, we’d propose the studying of things like the Policy Planning Study(PPS)23; included in studies like “What uncle Sam really wants”, written by the likes of an (Jaa born ‘n’ raised) American Jew like Noam Chomsky.
Then we would like to propose the study of another of them studies—by one other of them Jaa borns called Joseph Yahuda, called “Hebrew is Greek”.
To conclude our likings—regards your being admonished, we would in fine propose the study of the definition of Ellen (Hellene/Epsilon), according to Isocrates.
And just to make things easier, we’ll quote it here for you.
“…that the word Ellen (=Greek, which is also the English translation for Ellenic) is not so much a term of birth as it is of mentality, and is applied to a common culture rather than a common descent”.
Chomskys’ unfortunate habit of bias proclamations has and will continue to bring criticism Niko.
Check out his LAD theory on generative grammar; very questionable.
Though, his rant in ‘Failed States, the abuse of power and assault on democracy’ is an entertaining read.
